Advanced Business Manager

The Next Generation of Accounting Software Products is the claim that Advanced Business Manager lives up to.  It is built by accountants for accountants and sits on the highly scalable Microsoft SQL database for the back end and draws much strength from this. It’s core design parameters include Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. This means that at it’s core it handles Foreign Currency as part of the base of every transaction, not simply and ad on to some transactions.

Interface

In keeping with many contemporary software products ABM has an Outlook style interface, with user based customisable columns and ready made on screen filtering and sorting. This is so well refined in ABM that a lot of tasks normally referred to the reporting engine are simply done on screen and sent to MS Excel on the fly.

Intergrated

Advanced Business Manager is a fully Integrated Accounting System, and all ledgers work together. The decision to be ‘working in a period’ can be moved forward and back, and it is possible to process transaction to another period. The Accountant can put the system back in June while he does a range of things, however the front office can still be invoicing in July or August. It is also possible to lock periods. Prior periods can also be locked from users to prevent mishaps.

Development Cycle

ABM is on a development cycle that aims to produce a major release at around the 12 month mark. These releases encompass responses to the market place, both in terms of dealer response and feedback from customers.

Open OCX

The Transaction OCX has been designed to be open so that developers can form and pass transactions as if they had been entered inside ABM. This allows many specific industry developments to work directly withn ABM as the Accounting Engine, allowing you to get the best of both worlds.
